Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Our health, happy family, extended family, great jobs, good friends and so much more. We were missing my sister and Matthew this year, but our niece Camryn got to be here from Anchorage, if only for a short time. What a wonderful day- full of great food, family and laughter. What more could you ask for?

We have one more thing to be thankful for. Our nephew Coleman Cael, celebrated his first Thanksgiving today. Next year at this time we are going to have a little girl crawling around at just about his age, celebrating her first Thanksgiving!
Hope yours was as happy as ours!

Buried alive!

We have gotten so much snow in the past few days! Last night we had a winter storm advisory and we got dumped on again. Now it is about 32 degrees, clear and so warm!

The girls, of course, had fun playing in the snow once we coaxed them outside. Camryn and Kiley enjoyed being buried in snow by Jon..... kind of like being at the beach and buried in sand, but the sand is wet, cold and heavy!

November and Thanksgiving

(Shannon in this one)
We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!!

What a whirlwind of 4 days! We were so lucky that Camryn and Auntie Jeanette got to come home for Thanksgiving, meaning that our entire family was here for turkey day. It seems like most of us were sick at one time of another with sniffles, fevers or stomachaches. That didn't stop us from having a good time though! We did a lot of eating, talking and playing games. It wasn't warm enough outside to do a whole lot, but we still got out a bit.

More pictures to follow....

Happy 35th Anniversary!

They were totally surprised, and didn't have a clue about the party!

It was the surprise party of the season! We decided since Max, Jeanette and myself would all be in town that we would throw a surprise party in honor of our parents 35th Wedding anniversary.

Boy did we! They had NO clue we were surprising them! We invited some of their good friends and had a very nice evening full of laughter and good conversation, what my parents love most of all.

Happy 35th Mom and Dad!
