Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Our health, happy family, extended family, great jobs, good friends and so much more. We were missing my sister and Matthew this year, but our niece Camryn got to be here from Anchorage, if only for a short time. What a wonderful day- full of great food, family and laughter. What more could you ask for?

We have one more thing to be thankful for. Our nephew Coleman Cael, celebrated his first Thanksgiving today. Next year at this time we are going to have a little girl crawling around at just about his age, celebrating her first Thanksgiving!
Hope yours was as happy as ours!

Date Night!

It doesn't happen very often, but we clean up pretty nice when it does!

Checking out the local Waterfall.....

I thought since in seemed like winter was officially here (aka days below freezing and lots of snow showers) we should go and check out the "waterfall" with the girls.

I say "waterfall" hesitantly because not everyone agrees with the term to describe the water that flows in the creek behind our house. Potatoes patatas..... The girls call it a waterfall and we are going with that. We love the little walk, it puts color in our cheeks, fresh air in our lungs and a spring in our step.
The tundra wasn't as frozen as I thought it was going to be, which meant lots of crunching through the snow for this pregnant mama. Unfortunately the waterfall isn't close to being a waterfall, we need a few more weeks of cold weather for that to happen.

We got out, and we had fun. You can't ask for much more than that!

Trick or Treating 2011

Halloween was fun, but exhausting as usual. There were only two meltdowns this year- one for Sis and one for Mom :). We had a great time Trick or Treating with Kiley's best friend's family- the Tuckwoods (who were the cutest M&M's). The kids loaded up in Neqleq! I think the highlight for them was scoring an entire pop and a huge bag of Skittles, made their night.

I forgot my camera and didn't get a chance to take a family picture, luckily Amma Bossy came to the rescue with her camera, so we do at least have one pic! Somehow the cute little witch turned into a bear, but the Colorado Cowgirl stayed in her chaps. Dad was still a 7 ft. Angry Bird (and seemed to be a hit with everyone who saw him!) and Mom a preggo witch.
